If this is the case, finding the most qualified team of real estate agents is a must. If you’re interested in learning how to go about finding the best person or team for the job, continue reading.

Do your research on the top realtors in your area

The internet is a remarkable thing. Not only can we leave movie reviews and find out about new restaurants, but we can also use it to find the best real estate agent in the area. When searching for your potential realtor, make sure to read reviews and discover whether or not the real estate agent has an established web presence. This makes it easier to gather reviews from previous clients and establish whether or not the realtor is the one for you.

Interview: Three is the magic number

Once you have a list of candidates, make sure to meet with each individual one by one. Conducting in-person interviews allows you to ask as many questions as you need to in order to feel completely comfortable with your new agent. Three is typically the magic number, as it gives you a large enough pool to draw from.

How will I know they are the real estate agent for me?

If you’re stuck between a rock and a hard place, ask yourself a few of these questions. This will help you narrow down whether or not your candidate is a good fit. This is a huge decision, after all.

Ask yourself:

  • are they able to handle my unique set of circumstances?
  • what region does the realtor cover?
  • how well does the agent communicate?
  • will they be working with a larger team?
