This is the self proclaimed hidden gem 💎 of the Halton Conservation Park system
& is an amazing place to visit year round!
With 70 acres of forest, wetlands & reservoir - there's a lot packed into this pint-sized natural playground & I'm excited to show you around 😊
The Reservoir
The body of water here is a reservoir & there are similar ones through our communities designed to help mitigate flooding. But it's certainly more than just a preventative tool -- it's also home to an assortment of wildlife.
From birds & water fowl, to snapping turtles & fish, the calm 7 acre reservoir is a focal point of the park.
With an accessible dock at the south shoreline, it's no wonder people enjoy casting from here. Anglers often catch
